Here's an uncomfortable truth about events like this one: two people can attend exactly the same summit and walk away with wildly different results. One leaves with three serious conversations and a pilot in the works. The other leaves with sore feet and a tote bag.
Innovation almost never happens in isolation. It happens in the space between people — when a founder with a working prototype meets the corporate buyer who has the problem it solves, when a researcher's paper finds the company that can turn it into a product, when a public administrator and a deeptech team finally sit at the same table. Those moments are rare, and most of the time they happen by accident.
Most events end when the last panel does. You leave with a notebook of half-thoughts, a stack of business cards you'll never sort, and a vague intention to "follow up" that quietly expires by the following Tuesday. The talks were good. Nothing much happened afterward.
